R + J

One of my favorite things about working in the wedding industry is that no wedding is the same. Each is unique, as two backgrounds and styles come together to celebrate their union. We love to see different cultural traditions and religious customs exuded throughout the wedding day, honoring the heritage of the bride and groom. Last year we were excited to be a part of Robin and Josh's beautiful Korean-Chinese wedding. This lovely couple got married at the Perry House in Monterey, celebrating with their close relatives and friends in an intimate backyard ceremony. After their "I do's," they were joined inside with their family for a tea ceremony. Robin and Josh both changed into their traditional attire, as they sat and drank tea with their loved ones. Once the tea ceremony was complete, the guests moved to dinner on the lower patio where they enjoyed the delicious wood-fired pizzas from Classic Catering. It was a gorgeous day on the Monterey Bay, and these photos from Kara Miller wonderfully capture that day's beauty!
