I am so excited to share with you our Fall Persian wedding at Holman Ranch on this lovely couple's one year anniversary! The bride, Yasmin, is Persian and wanted to share her culture on her wedding day by participating in a Persian ceremony. I (Katie) had the privilege of setting up the Sofreh and loved learning about all the different meanings of this ceremonial ritual. Each item on the Sofreh had a symbolic meaning for Yasmin and Andy's future - candles for a bright future, sugar and honey for sweetness of life, eggs for fertility, gold coins for wealth, and many other symbols for a happy and healthy life as a new couple. We hope all of these blessings come true and wish them many more years together!
