About Heidi & Karissa
This story begins in 2004 with two outgoing, savvy girls (Karissa and Heidi) leaving their years of corporate Hospitality Management and starting their own businesses. Five years later these two Event Planners found themselves needing to expand and decided to join forces. Fast forward to present time where you find Karissa and Heidi along with their team, The Couture Girls, planning and designing uniquely fabulous events all over the Monterey Bay. With hundreds of weddings under their belts and their behind the scenes knowledge, Coastside Couture is the perfect choice to help plan your big day.

Heidi, A.K.A "The Show" - Obsessions include coffee, Audrey Hepburn movies, books, food and wine, travel, high heels and anything that sparkles. When Heidi's not working on fabulous events you can find her hanging out with her Hubby, two children, two dogs and Leo the cat. As a former Chef Heidi loves cooking, and spends hours in the kitchen creating new dishes. Heidi is a twitter junkie and a blog stalker. She could live on Brie, olives, pork belly and good bubbly. |

Karissa, A.K.A. "Little Miss Sunshine" - Passions include flip flops, adventure, anything pink, frilly and lacy, the ocean, wine, and her little "black book" of connections. She loves to mountain bike in the mud with her Hubby and runs every morning with her "babies" Mingus the Chihuahua and Sally the Aussie. This athletic and spunky spit fire is well known for her head full of curly locks and her quick laugh. She loves biscuits and gravy and can tell you the best places all over to get them, but is vegetarian and makes a mean veggie loco moco. Karissa doesn't own a TV and cannot stay awake in movie theaters. Her addiction to coffee is all Heidi's fault. |

Jana Gaytan: Couture House Assistant - Is the pulse of Coastside Couture headquarters. Jana loves taking charge of DIY projects, especially ones that involve glitter, ribbon and bows. This recent UCSC graduate's shoe collection cannot be rivaled. |

Jessica Thompson: Associate Planner - Jessica started in the Hospitality Industry when she was 16 years old. Jessica graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York and went on to a career in Hotel Management. She managed events at the Monterey Marriot as well as the Scotts Valley Hilton before joining the Coastside Couture Team. Jessica’s passions include cooking, wine tasting, warm weather travel and her two sons. |

Rebecca Guiney: Associate Planner - Before joining Coastside Couture’s team Rebecca studied Hospitality Management at San Francisco State University. She loves the fast paced environment of the Event Industry, and like the rest of the Couture Girls her obsessions include shoes, fast cars, Mojitos, and anything that sparkles. |
